We packed up and, after showing Meral’s brother how to sync his music to his new iPhone, we said our goodbyes and headed north. We really enjoyed our stay at Saban Pansion; the family were so welcoming and also gave us a big bag of oranges and lemons as a departing gift.
Essentially a driving day, only pausing for a comfort break on the sea front at Antalya during the four and a half hours to the lakeside town of Egirdir, our stopping off point for the night on the way to Cappadocia. We’re in a nice pension by the lake shore as it’s raining (as it has been for most of the day), enjoying a lazy evening reading and surfing the net.
