After a hot hour and a half alternatively sweating in the steam room and then sluicing water over myself in the “cold” room, I moved back to my wooden changing cubicle for a green tea and a cool down. Anne emerged shortly after refreshed and revitalised.
We met up with the Kiwis by the Spice Bazaar to enjoy a relaxing two hour cruise up the Bosphorous in the afternoon sun before saying goodbye to Kane and Fi as they were going to have a quiet night in.
On the way home we failed to re-find the supermarket we had used before (all streets seem to look alike at times), but found another in order to stock up with a couple of days worth of food for our journey away from Istanbul.
Quick catch up on the hand washing before Mark and Briar joined us for a pizza in the restaurant by our hotel. It was a really nice last evening and we wished them a good trip back to the UK and they reiterated their invite to stay when we reach New Zealand (how nice are they).
