We’re back! It was a long drive through France, then we hopped on the Calais-Dover ferry (SPOT) which was followed by another 3.5 hours driving on the left (very strange!) to get back to Anne’s parents’ house just after midnight. We’re both tired but we need get up early tomorrow as Ben is coming over in order to give the Camel a full check and fix a few bits we’ve saved up (clutch master cylinder, handbrake, and fuel pump olives). It’s strange arriving back in the UK, but it’s not for long...
This will be the last blog entry for a while as I’m sure you’re not interested in our repacking, cleaning, etc. before we put the Land Rover into a container in Felixstowe in a couple of weeks time for its journey to Australia. Once shipped, we’ll fly out and join the Land Rover in Freemantle at the end of April for the next leg of our journey.
